This exhibition was attended by 1,673 textile machinery manufacturers from 28 countries and regions, an increase of 7% in number year on year. Among them, exhibitors from mainland China accounted for 69% of the total exhibition area, ranking first, followed by Germany, Italy, Japan and Switzerland. In terms of visitors, as of October 18, the number of pre-registered visitors online had exceeded 16,000, of which overseas pre-registered visitors accounted for more than 30%. It is expected that the number of visitors during the entire exhibition will exceed 100,000.
Regarding the exhibits, during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the textile industry will vigorously promote advanced processes, technologies and equipment with broad applicability; by raising the automation level of textile machinery, the competitiveness of the entire textile industry will be enhanced, and energy-saving, emission-reduction and green environmental protection technology and equipment will become the new driving force for the development of the textile industry.
At present, the China International Textile Machinery Exhibition & ITMA Asia Exhibition has already formed a brand effect in Asia and even globally. Both parties also have high hopes for the 2018 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition & ITMA Asia Exhibition and will engage in longer-term cooperation. It is reported that the next exhibition will continue to be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in Hongqiao, Shanghai, from October 26 to 30, 2018.
