Paper Industry

The challenges facing paper processing belts concern the diverse applications of paper processing and letter sorting. Monty has continually become a partner and supplier to original equipment manufacturers and end users.

Through our expertise, the complete range of Monty machine tapes is suitable for the various application requirements in paper processing and letter sorting processes, and for the processing of various paper types.

Monty paper processing belts have friction coefficients that can be adapted to specific functions, top coatings that adhere easily to paper, good release and grip performance, and a long service life, enabling them to stand out in their respective industry applications.

The innovative types of the Monty E+A Series are the latest results of our R&D work. Their aromatic polyamide or polyester tension members have extremely low installation elongation and high flexibility, and are unaffected by fluctuations in environmental conditions. When a product needs to be picked up from an inclined surface or a positioning point, a design with too little grip will interrupt the entire process. Monty's High Grip coating is precisely the solution.

This product can grip goods gently but firmly, and release the goods at exactly the right time.

—Folder-gluer belts.

—All kinds of paper and cardboard can pass through every process of a cross-cutting paper cutter at high speed and accurately, without leaving any marks.

In addition to the repeatedly proven P Series machine tapes, the E Series types are the designated design for this type and are suitable for demanding use.

Even after long periods of operation, and even if environmental conditions fluctuate, no re-tensioning is required, and they are also suitable for very small roller diameters.

The relatively low installation elongation can minimize shaft loads. They have a long service life, single-layer finger splices are fast, no accessories are required (no adhesive!), and assembly time can be minimized, thereby reducing downtime.

In letter distribution and sorting conveying, the gentle handling of paper and letters of easily worn types is part of everyday life. Flexible machine tapes can easily cope with and handle these types of requirements.

In addition to the repeatedly proven Monty P Series machine tapes, the E Series types are the designated design for this type and are suitable for demanding use.

Even after long periods of operation, and even if environmental conditions fluctuate, no re-tensioning is required, and they are also suitable for very small roller diameters.

Their relatively low installation elongation can minimize shaft loads. Elastic machine tapes are mostly used for very small end diameters and do not require any tensioning device.

All types in the product series have a long service life. The E Series has a shorter installation time, mainly due to the fast finger splice, which requires no accessories (no glue needed!) and has excellent conveying capacity.

—Downtime can be reduced to a minimum. Monty folder-gluer belts are suitable for paper, cartons, and cardboard of all qualities, whether untreated, varnished, or laminated.

These belts are easy to clean, and most have oil resistance as well as resistance to grease and solvents.

Our latest R&D result is the innovative types of the E Series and A Series. These series use polyester or polyaramid tension members, have extremely low installation elongation and high elasticity, and are unaffected by fluctuations in environmental conditions.
